    Conflict Minerals Policy Statement

Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act enacted in July 2010 imposes new supply chain reporting requirements on U.S. publicly traded companies to promote transparency and consumer awareness regarding the use of “conflict minerals” defined as Tantalum, Tin, Gold, and Tungsten, that directly or indirectly finance or benefit armed groups in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and adjoining countries.

MRO Electronic Supply Ltd. fully supports the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) initiative to cut funding to armed groups that commit violent human rights violation in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and adjoining countries.

MRO believes that its customers should be fully informed about the products they purchase. MRO, as a distributor and user of electronic components, is not able to certify as to the country of origin of the minerals contained in the products manufactured by its suppliers. Nevertheless, MRO is committed to working with its suppliers to provide products that meet its customer’s specifications.

MRO has requested information from its suppliers on the presence and source of any conflict minerals in the products it sells and components it uses in manufacturing of custom cable assemblies. MRO is committed to sourcing components from companies that share its values with regard to ethics and integrity, respect for human rights, and environmental responsibility. MRO expects its suppliers, and its suppliers’ suppliers, to acquire minerals only from responsible sources that do not directly or indirectly finance or benefit armed groups in DRC or adjoining countries.

MRO will continue its efforts in getting the information needed from its suppliers regarding conflict minerals and its sources and report this using the Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition (EICC) and Global e-Sustainability (“GeSI”) Conflict Minerals Reporting System.

MRO asked for its suppliers’ support in these initiatives in working towards a conflict-free supply chain.
